State NG-CARES coordinator Omar Dahiru, speaking at a news conference in Lafayette, said £ 20mn (8.3bn) was spent on the program. state.

The N-CARES coordinator emphasized that the program was specifically targeted at the poor and vulnerable groups in society, which expect to implement seven intervention projects, in particular in the areas of nutrition, agriculture and the rural road network.

He also said that about 120,000 poor and vulnerable people in 13 local government sectors would benefit directly from the program through scholarships, farm supplies, and more.

“Micro-projects for poor communities with education, health, nutrition, water and sanitation infrastructure; Providing agricultural raw materials and services such as seeds, fertilizers and fungicides to poor members of the farming community; Managing farmers ’property for production to add value to harvested produce and reduce food waste for poor community farmers’ organizations.

“Landscaping of rural roads and access roads from farms to the mandate for poor and rural farming communities; Covid-19 helps wet-water water and sanitation infrastructure adapt to reality.
