Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe has made a post on her Instagram handle which hints that she may be having issues in her marriage. The actress had a serious issue with her husband Lanre Gentry some years ago after he allegedly physically abused her.
The actress not only packed out of their home in Lagos but also reported her husband to the Gender Violence Agency in Lagos state. After the matter was resolved the celebrity went back to her husband and have remained a strong voice against gender based violence in the country.
But her fans were afraid after the actress shared a post on her Instagram handle that people should move out of relationships that partners do not appreciate them or see anything good about what they do. Those were the grievances against her husband when they nearly divorced some years ago.
This sparked speculations and rumors among fans on whether the actress is having another rough time in her marriage especially because of the lock down that forced many couples to stay together.
It is on record that there was an increase in the number of gender based abuse at home because of couples that did not have a good relationship was forced to stay together.
