We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Automotive Technician
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on automotive vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for faulty parts
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues
- Create a plan of action for all repairs
- Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs
- Responsible for inspecting and repairing technical faults in automobiles.
- Specialize in testing individual components of a vehicle to determine the issue, fix it using diagnostic software technology, and perform preventive maintenance to enhance performance.
- Perform standard inspection, problem-solving, customer service, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work with car engines, transmissions, drive belts, and other integrated computerized diagnostic tools.
- Support coworkers and be a good team player
- Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines, as well as common-sense safety practices
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma working experience
- 4 years’ experience
- Vocational / Trade School certification preferred
- Expert in welding, installation, and automotive knowledge.
- Ability to employ a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Can provide effective maintenance for modern vehicle systems.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of advanced repair and diagnostic technology.
- Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment
- Attention to detail, coordinated and dexterous
- Clear communicator, and excellent customer service skills
- Efficient and innovative worker.
