WHY IS Facebook Lite Version Is Down
Since the early hours of today, Facebook lite app has been down
Some one wrote My Facebook lite app went off siting the fact that my Facebook lite app is out of date . The message displaying on the screen say “You are using an unsupported version of Facebook lite . Update to the latest version
They gave two options to update but when I tried the two options, it actually updated but the app keep displaying the above message

Meanwhile, over the years Facebook platform has gained more and more features, which has made the mobile app heavier. This complicated the access of users whose mobile devices have limited hardware resources.
So, the company launched Facebook Lite as a lighter version of the app. Lite allows access to many of the key features of the platform but taking up less space and requiring less-powerful hardware to run smoothly.
That said, currently many Facebook Lite users are unable to access the platform as the app is down or not working.
