Former Nigeria Head of State, General Abdulsalami Alhaji Abubakar has on Tuesday blessed the Gubernatorial Candidature of Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi under the People’s Democratic Party in Niger State.
It should be noted that political campaigns for the 2023 general elections is to commence in few days time.
Ggeneral Abdulsalami gave his support to Kantigi when the Gubernatorial candidate paid him a courtesy visit at his Uphill Mansion in Minna, the State capital.
The elder statesman prayed Allah to grant Alhaji Isah Kantigi success in the forthcoming election, saying, “I know you, I wish you success”.
Earlier, Kantigi prayed and wished the former Head of State good health and long life.
The courtesy call later dissolved into a short private meeting between Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi and the former Head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
