The Nigerian music executive and founder of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has taken to social media to appeal to friends for birthday gifts as the date draws nearer.
GoldenNewsNg reports that the Mavin Records founder will be turning 40 on November 26, 2022, and ahead of the birthday, he is asking people who consider themselves his friend to remember to send him something.
Don Jazzy did not specify what he would like to have but he openly made it known that he’ll like to receive loads of gifts this year.
He firstly showed interest in the said friends wellbeing and went further to pray that they see his message.
Don Jazzy made the appeal via his verified Twitter page while sharing a photo of himself in a religious outfit on Friday, 4th November 2022.
He wrote; ”How are you my friends? I’m turning 40 on Nov 26th. I no go mind gifts this year Abeg. I no do shakara. I pray you see this message my friend. 🤍🐘”

It may be recalled that in November 2021, his colleague, Davido did something similar when he asked friends, fans and supporters to donate for his birthday.
He was able to raise more than N200 million which he donated to orphanage homes across the country.
