Speed Darlington, the Nigerian internet sensation and rapper has accused Burna Boy of lying about the amount he made this year.
GoldenNewsNg reports that Burna had earlier hinted during a clash with his colleague and close friend, Wizkid, that he’s made about $100 million in 2023 alone.
Speaking in reaction to his statement, Speed Darlington said the ‘Last Last’ crooner is not a dollar millionaire as he claims.
According to the Bangdadadang singer, Burna Boy might have up to 100,000 dollars in his bank account, but he does not have 100 million dollars.
He was casting the aspersions during a live session where he asked fans to tell him if it is Nigerians living abroad or white people who are giving Burna Boy that type of money.
Speedy further said Nigerians are not using their brains to think and they are allowing people to deceive them.
He also noted that he does not know what will make him pay $100 to attend a Burna Boy concert so it is unbelievable that he makes millions from his shows.
