According to resorts the presidential task force on covid-19 have given an update on the reasons why Nigeria is recording low cases of the virus in the country recently.
In their briefing with President at the Aso Villa, on the 5th of August, the chairman of the presidential task force on covid-19 Boss Mustapha made the disclosure that the reason why there is a low record of cases recently is because of the Salah celebration which is still on going.
Goldennewsng learnt that the Chairman also stated that people are still in the celebration mood and for that reason they were only able to test 2000 people but promises to increase test capacity as soon as workers resume work fully.

Mustapha further noted that new measures are been put in place to tackle the spread of the virus, mostly in the areas of community tracing and identification he either added.
