Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, awarded Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, with an honorary doctorate.
Goldennewsng reports that Adeboye has received his eighth honorary doctorate.
William Wilson, President of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, gave it to Adeboye on Thursday night, the fourth day of the 2022 Holy Ghost Congress, which was dubbed “Double Portion.”
The Redemption Campground in Ogun State is where the Congress is being held.
Friday morning, Adeboye wrote on Instagram that he didn’t want to go to the US to get the degree because he didn’t know it would be delivered to him in Nigeria.
He penned:
“Let Someone Sing Hallelujah!”
I’d like to express my gratitude to @oralrobertsu for this honor and let the institution know that it has been received with gratitude.
I did some research and discovered that very few people in the world have more than three honorary degrees. I already had seven, and I thought that was plenty.
However, I heard from @oralrobertsu: I tried to turn down the offer from the world’s greatest and best Pentecostal university by stating that I couldn’t make it, but the president decided to come alone. God bless you and thank you so much!
