Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, said on Saturday that God has not told him who will be Nigeria’s next president.
Goldennewsng reports that in light of this, Adeboye advised Nigerians to obtain Permanent Voter Cards, or PVCs, in advance of the February presidential election.
The clergyman spoke at the Holy Ghost Service in January at Redemption City, Ogun State, on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
You might think that the election will be next month, but he hasn’t spoken yet. He advised, “I suggest that you prepare your PVCs.”
Adeboye also said that he might not tell Nigerians who God says will be the next president of the country.
Be prepared to vote according to your heart’s desire if He does not speak before the elections. He responded, “Well, I may or may not tell you if He tells me.”
Members of the church were urged by the RCCG General Overseer to rely on God rather than false prophecies typically given by clergy.
