Chioma Omeruh, better known by her stage name Chigul, a well-known Nollywood actress, has made it clear that she got married when she was 33 years old.
Goldennewsng reports that several days after Basketmouth’s ex-wife Elsie Okpocha posted a post on women, marriage, and children, the comedienne made this admission in response.
Chigul claims that she felt it was unnecessary to give birth during her marital crisis in order to save her marriage.
She stated,
We weren’t perfect, and I won’t lie, there were good days. We simply stopped caring when it got to that point. I dismiss the fact that it sank because I was led to believe that it was my responsibility to keep that afloat.
Would I have made any adjustments to it? No, because something had to happen. I’m glad that it happened after a year without children or attachments. When I got married at 33, I was a virgin. That was my first purchase, and it was meant to be unique and lasting.
