The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is currently in Enugu for the party’s campaign rally.
Goldennewsng reports that he was greeted by Governors Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, former Senate President Ken Nnamani, and other APC chieftains in the South East upon his arrival at the Enugu International Airport.
In addition to other APC national leaders, Tinubu was accompanied by Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and his Jagawa counterpart Abubakar Badaru.
Today, January 11, 2023, at the Michael Okpara Square in Enugu, the presidential campaign rally is scheduled to take place.
Members and supporters of the party have stormed the location of the campaign rally following Tinubu’s arrival in the state, creating an atmosphere of celebration.
The Independence Layout was choked with traffic as a result of the supporters’ presence. The entire area was crowded with supporters in a variety of colors and brooms, chanting songs of support for Tinubu and the APC as early as 9 a.m.
To ensure adequate protection of lives and property, armed security personnel, first aid and emergency responders were stationed at various strategic points.
