Papa Ajasco whose real name is Wale Adenuga is the creator of the Nigerian family sitcom Papa Ajasco and Company, which first aired on television in 1996 under the name The Ajasco Family. The television program is an offshoot of a feature film of the same name that was directed by Wale Adenuga and released in 1984. That film, in turn, was adapted from the comic book series Ikebe Super.
