As we all know, Nigeria will have a new president two weeks from today as the general election is rapidly approaching.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are the major three primary contenders in this election. The opportunity to lead Nigeria and effect positive change is up for grabs for each of them.

The supporters of Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State in Nigeria, are referred to as “ObiDENTs.” These supporters have faith in Obi’s capacity to effect positive change and are enthusiastic about the country’s vision.

A large group of supporters known as “AtikuLATEDs” back Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria and one of the main opposition candidates in the 2019 presidential elections. Atiku’s extensive business experience and commitment to expanding the Nigerian economy draw these supporters.

Regarding Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party and former governor of Lagos State, Tinubu’s followers have not yet been given a name. However, they have been referred to casually as “Bu la ba” by some. Tinubu’s supporters are known for their unwavering loyalty and dedication to his political vision, regardless of their name.
