Former Psg defender Thiago Silva, has completed his move to Chelsea on a one year deal.
Chelsea reserve the option to extend the deal by a further year for the Brazil international.
Psg made an unsuccessful last ditch attempt to hijack the deal for the 35 years old, who was on the losing side in the Champions League final on Sunday.
Having spent eight seasons in France, Silva becomes Frank Lampard’s sixth signing following the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Xavier Mbuyamba and Malang Sarr.
Silva after putting pen to paper said, “I am so happy to be joining Chelsea.
“I am delighted to be a part of Frank Lampard’s exciting squad for next season and I’m here to challenge for honours.”
