NPower Nexit Update Today 26th May 2023

As of May 26th, 2023, the NPower Nexit program in Nigeria is making significant strides towards empowering and supporting NPower beneficiaries. The program aims to facilitate their transition into sustainable economic opportunities through entrepreneurship, employment, and skills development. Notably, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been actively disbursing loans, grants, and other forms of empowerment to eligible beneficiaries, enabling them to start or expand their businesses. Additionally, the NPower Nexit Portal remains open for beneficiaries to update their profiles and access job placements, training programs, and relevant updates. The government emphasizes the importance of compliance with program requirements and guidelines to ensure a seamless transition for beneficiaries. Overall, the NPower Nexit program continues to progress, providing beneficiaries with the necessary support and opportunities for their future success.

NPower Nexit Update Today 26th May 2023

Npower Nexit Applicants Seek Answers Ahead Of May 29 Handover

In today’s latest news regarding the NPower Nexit package, the exited beneficiaries from Batches A and B express concerns about the impending May 29 handover and seek answers regarding the status of the Nexit package. These concerns arise after President Buhari approved the payment of outstanding stipends for NSIP beneficiaries, creating uncertainty about the completion of the promised Nexit package empowerment opportunities under the incoming administration.

The Nexit program was introduced by the Nigerian government to address the challenges that the exited NPower beneficiaries may encounter after their participation in the NPower program. Its objective is to provide these beneficiaries with reengagement opportunities, including entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and access to funding for starting their own businesses or ventures.

The implementation details of the Nexit program were carried out by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development (FMHDS) in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). However, the specifics of the program, such as eligibility criteria for the disbursement of the Nexit package, remain unclear even after some applicants were selected for Nexit training.

As President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration draws to a close on May 29, 2023, Nexit applicants are raising questions about the prospects of their efforts in the Nexit scheme coming to fruition.
