Everton have confirmed the signing of Colombian midfielder, James Rodriguez from Real Madrid for £22m.
The deal which will see the 29 year old reunite with Carlo Ancelotti whom he worked with both at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, is a two year contract with an option for a further year.
Ancelotti signed James for Real Madrid in 2014, after his heroics in the world cup where he won the tournaments golden boot, and again signed him on loan at Bayern in 2017 after being named the Bundesliga club’s manager.
