British actress Diana Rigg, who played the enthralling role Lady Olenna, in the HBO hit Television series Game of Thrones, has died at the age of 82 her agent has announced.
She was also famed for her role in the original ‘The Avengers’ movies.
Simon Beresford in a statement wrote, “It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that Dame Diana Rigg died peacefully early this morning.
“She was at home with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”
