Report has it that some Top APC Members has Died In an Auto Crash On Their Way to Abuja.
On Monday, tragic news emerged as a group of All Progressives Congress (APC) members from Imo State, who were en route to Abuja for the 10th National Assembly inauguration scheduled on Tuesday, June 13, were involved in a fatal auto crash in Delta State’s Agbor area.
According to The Punch, the accident occurred when their bus collided with another vehicle. Multiple sources confirmed that several APC members and loyalists lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. Among the casualties were a female from the Ogbor community and two males from the Amaraku community, both located in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
While three individuals were confirmed dead, many others sustained varying degrees of injuries. They were promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention. A party chieftain, speaking anonymously, revealed that the victims were coordinators of Patrick Ndubueze, the senator-elect for Imo South, and Mirriam Onuoha, the member-elect for Okigwe North Federal Constituency.
In other news, the 10th National Assembly inauguration is set to take place on Tuesday, June 13. During this event, the lawmakers will also elect the leadership for both chambers of the legislature. The APC had previously announced Godswill Akpabio as its preferred candidate for the 10th Senate president, while Tajudeen Abass was endorsed as the party’s choice for the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.
