UNILAG Inter/Intra Faculty Transfers 2023: Application Process And Guidelines

 

Did you know that you have the opportunity to transfer from one faculty to another? That’s right! UNILAG allows for both inter and intra-faculty transfers, which means you can transfer to another department within the same faculty (intra) or to a different department under a different faculty (inter). We are pleased to inform you that the management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the commencement of the sale of Inter and Intra Faculty Transfer Application Forms for the 2023/2024 Academic Session. This announcement is available on the school’s official website. The sales will begin on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, and end on Monday, July 17, 2023. We encourage interested individuals to purchase the forms and submit their applications.

Eligibility for Transfer

To be considered eligible for inter or intra-faculty transfers, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Candidates are required to present results indicating their current Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
  2. Candidates must have a CGPA of at least 1.00.
  3. Candidates must possess the required O/A level subjects for admission into the intended program.
  4. Candidates must have successfully completed a minimum of the 200 level by the end of the 2021/2022 academic session.

Transfer Procedure

Interested students should follow these simple guidelines:

  1. Read the transfer guidelines to ensure eligibility before obtaining the form.
  2. Log in to your portal on the University website, www.unilag.edu.ng, and navigate to the Inter/Intra Faculty section of the Portal.
  3. Complete the required fields on the preliminary form.
  4. Generate and print the Inter/Intra Faculty Form Payment Advice, which contains the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number. Proceed to any commercial bank to pay the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000:00).
  5. Return to your portal on the University website to print the Inter/Intra Faculty Form.
  6. Attach your O’Level or A’Level results and Statement of Result to the completed form. The form must be signed by the current Head of Department (H.O.D.) and Dean, as well as the proposed H.O.D. and Dean.
  7. Submit the completed form and attachments (four copies) to the Academic Affairs, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG, on or before the closing date of Monday, July 17, 2023.
