What Happened to the Old Portal?

Recently, GoldenNewsNg,  reported that accessing the NASIMS Portal became problematic for users. This was a significant issue since the portal is crucial for accessing essential services. In response, NASIMS made the decision to transition from the old portal to the new Self Service Portal.

NPOWER Payments Update

Currently, there are no new updates regarding NPOWER payments. However, Npower has recently fulfilled outstanding payments owed to certain users who followed the instructions provided by Npower management.

New Login Process for Npower Users on the Self Service Portal

The new Self Service Portal introduces a different login process for Npower users, which encompasses various programs like GEEP, CCT, and NHGSFP. The integration of all these programs into a single platform simplifies the login experience for users.

To log in to the new portal, follow these steps:

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to either nasims.gov.ng or ssp.nasims.gov.ng.
  2. A pop-up list will appear. Locate Npower on the list and select it by clicking the circle next to it. Then, click “continue.”
  3. A login page will appear, where you’ll need to enter your email and password to access the portal.

The upgraded portal will provide clearer insights into the functioning of the NSIP programme.

Additional Information for Npower Users

If you received a message asking you to validate your account as an Npower user, rest assured that it’s not a fake message. Follow the instructions in the message to complete your enrollment in the Npower programme.

Moreover, the Federal Government has initiated the registration of artisans across the country. If you’re an artisan, you can register by following these steps:

  1. Open your web browser and visit the registration site.
  2. Follow the instructions provided on the site to complete your registration.

Remember, the new Self Service Portal is designed to assist you, and if you encounter any difficulties, don’t hesitate to seek help, as these services are available to support you.
