NASIMS Clears Outstanding Stipends and Prepares for Future Payments
Introduction: In line with NASIMS’ dedicated efforts to ensure timely stipend disbursements, significant progress has been made towards clearing all outstanding stipends for eligible beneficiaries. This achievement sets the stage for the seamless payment of stipends from January to July 2023, providing much-needed financial support to those enrolled in the program.
1. Successful Transition to NASIMS Self Service Portal: The commencement of the current stipend payment, which began on August 1st, 2023, follows the successful transition of the payment process to the new NASIMS Self Service Portal. This modernized platform aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in the stipend payment process.
2. Joyous Confirmations of Stipend Receipt: As of today, numerous beneficiaries have expressed their joy and appreciation as they confirm the receipt of outstanding stipends. Some beneficiaries reported receiving two months’ worth of stipends amounting to N60,000, while others received three months’ worth, totaling N90,000.
3. Timely Payments for New Batch C Stream 2 Beneficiaries: The recently shortlisted 200,000 Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries, who joined the program in June 2023 and successfully validated their bank account details, have also received their outstanding stipends spanning 2-3 months.
4. Clarity on Stipend Payments: It is essential to clarify that the recent and ongoing payment of outstanding stipends is a tangible reality. The payments currently being made are specifically for the October, November, and December 2022 stipends, targeted at Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries who are yet to receive these payments.
5. Achieving Payment Parity for All Beneficiaries: One of the primary objectives of clearing the 3 months outstanding stipends is to bring all beneficiaries to the same payment level. This ensures that when the payment for stipends from January to July 2023 begins, the disbursement process can be triggered seamlessly for all beneficiaries through the new NASIMS SSP Portal.
Conclusion: NASIMS’ commitment to its beneficiaries shines through as it continues to clear outstanding stipends and streamline the payment process. This progress marks a significant step towards the improved financial support of all participants and emphasizes the program’s dedication to ensuring the welfare of its beneficiaries. With the implementation of the new NASIMS Self Service Portal, beneficiaries can look forward to more efficient and timely stipend disbursements in the future.
NASIMS Commence Massive Payment of Batch C2 Outstanding Stipends
The process of Stipends Payment began on Tuesday 1st of August , marking the first occurrence after NASIMS transitioned to its new Self-Service Portal (SSP) ssp.nasims.gov.ng.
The rationale behind introducing the new SSP Portal was to enhance the management of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) by providing beneficiaries with access to streamlined services, including seamless Stipend payments, thanks to its advanced features.
By utilizing the SSP Portal, Npower beneficiaries can now receive their Stipends simultaneously, while also having real-time access to their payment records and statuses, such as “processing,” “completed,” or “failed payments,” all within their NASIMS SSP Profile.
Furthermore, NASIMS is actively addressing the backlog of Outstanding Stipends Payment for the months of October, November, and December 2022. This payment also extends to the recently shortlisted Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries, particularly those who successfully completed the validation process in June and early July 2023.
While beneficiaries can expect the payment to be credited to their respective bank accounts, it is essential to note that the timing may vary, considering the use of different bank accounts by individual beneficiaries. Although the payment initiation occurs simultaneously, the duration may differ from one bank to another, with an estimated processing time not exceeding 48 hours.
In light of this, patience is highly encouraged among beneficiaries to avoid undue stress during the disbursement process.
To stay informed about the status of their Stipend Payment, beneficiaries are advised to monitor the new Self Service Portal closely. This will enable them to determine which months have been completely paid, are in the processing stage, or encountered payment issues, thereby reducing anxiety and facilitating appropriate complaints, which can be lodged through the NASIMS SSP Portal or verified Npower Social Media Handles.
