Application Process and Requirements for Jobs at GTBank

To be eligible for GTBank’s Entry-Level Program (ELP), candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be a graduate with a minimum of a second class lower division from an accredited University.
• Have completed the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program and possess the NYSC certificate.
• Have completed the West African Examination Council (WAEC) or National Examination Council (NECO) with at least 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two (2) sittings.
• Must be no more than twenty-six (26) years of age.

GTBank Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process consists of five stages, as outlined below:

Step 1: Computer-Based Evaluation

Qualified candidates will be invited to take a computer-based assessment, which includes questions on Spatial Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.

Step 2: Documentation for the Pre-Interview

After successfully passing the exam, candidates will have an informal chat with a member of the Human Resources Team. During this session, candidates will be expected to provide proof of relevant qualifications/credentials for verification. Additionally, you may be asked to prepare an essay, the details of which will be provided during the session.

Step 3: Panel Interview

The next stage involves a competency-based panel interview. Candidates must demonstrate critical competencies and the qualities and skills required by the bank.

Step 4: Final Interview

This stage requires a one-on-one interview with a member of the Executive Management Team. Candidates should exhibit industry knowledge and the passion required to work at Guaranty Trust Bank, in addition to responding to competency-based questions.

Step 5: Entry-Level Training Program

Candidates who successfully pass the Final Interview will be enrolled in our four-month Entry-Level Program (ELP). During this program, participants will receive training and assessment on the practical, social, and technological aspects of banking. Following the program, successful candidates will be integrated into the bank.
