Basic Qualification

Before applying, ensure you meet the following basic qualification requirements:

  1. You must be a single Nigerian citizen by birth and possess a National Identity Card/NIN slip.
  2. Applicants must be in good physical, mental, and psychological health, in accordance with Nigerian Army standards.
  3. You must have a clean record with no criminal convictions in a court of law.
  4. Possession of a valid birth certificate/age declaration endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, or Local Government Council is mandatory.
  5. You must have a valid certificate of state of origin.
  6. For non-tradesmen/women, height requirements are 1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females.
  7. Age requirements: Non-tradesmen/women must be between 18 and 22 years old, while tradesmen/women must not exceed 26 years as of December 18, 2023.
  8. Registered Nurses and Midwives not above 30 years old are also eligible to apply.
  9. All applicants must have at least four passes in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
  10. For tradesmen/women, a Trade Test/City Guild Certificate is required.
  11. The online registration period is from September 25th to October 20th, 2023.
  12. Shortlisted candidates will participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise scheduled for November 6th to November 19th, 2023.
