Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline, launched its highly anticipated flight route connecting Lagos to London.

This major milestone comes after Air Peace made public its ambitious plans to introduce direct flight services between Lagos and London during a prelaunch gathering held back in February.

During the prelaunch, Air Peace unveiled its ambitious plans to kickstart direct flight operations to London, with the inaugural flight scheduled for March 30.

In November, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema announced that the airline had successfully secured all the essential permits, including the prestigious Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit.

On Saturday, March 30, Air Peace took to social media to share the exhilarating news, expressing profound gratitude and joy for attaining this remarkable milestone.

The airline wrote, “London service has commenced and we’re delighted to have achieved yet another feat in our drive to continually provide peaceful connectivity across cities. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this launch.”

The inaugural flight from Lagos to London was graced by distinguished guests including Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, and Doris Uzoka-Anita, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, alongside other notable dignitaries.
