The AAU Post UTME form for the 2023/2024 academic session is now available online at www.aau.edu.ng. The registration for AAU post UTME will commence in August 2023, and the closing date for registration has been scheduled from September 30th to October 31st, 2023.

Candidates who selected Ambrose Alli University as their first choice in the recently concluded JAMB examination and scored 180 and above are eligible to purchase the application form.

The management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has announced that the cut-off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session is 180 for the AAU Post UTME.

Eligibility for AAU Post UTME 2023

To be eligible to apply for the AAU Post UTME screening form, candidates must have scored 180 and above in their current UTME result.

AAU Post UTME Screening Form Price 2023/2024

The price for the AAU Post UTME form is set at 2,000 Naira only. Eligible candidates who wish to participate in the screening exercise must pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 through the University Portal.

AAU Post UTME Screening Date 2023/2024

The screening date for the AAU Post UTME will be communicated to all candidates via their respective emails and phone numbers. It is crucial to provide a valid email address and phone number during the registration process.

Steps to Apply for AAU Post UTME Form

To successfully apply for the AAU Screening Form, follow the instructions below:

  1. Candidates are advised to apply online at https://aaue.waeup.org/applicants using ATM debit cards on Interswitch.
  2. Upload a colored passport photograph and fill in all relevant certificates/documents (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, etc.) with the correct examination number and pin on the portal.
  3. Candidates should preview and confirm that the uploaded passport photograph is accurate, as complaints regarding wrong or blank pictures will not be entertained after form submission.

Important Points to Note About AAU Post UTME Screening

  • Inconsistency in name or picture on the registration slip is not acceptable and may lead to disqualification.
  • The candidate’s names on their O’Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents must match.
  • Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to be eligible for the exercise.
  • Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar gadgets or extraneous materials are prohibited at the screening venue and its environs.
  • Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission, provided the result will be available at the time of resumption.
  • O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB website promptly as candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for admission.
  • Candidates should register with their own valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
  • Candidates must report to the designated screening venues as scheduled when the screening exercise is announced to avoid disqualification.
  • Registration is strictly online, and candidates are not required to be physically present on the university campus. They can register from any location.
  • Candidates who initially selected AAU as their second choice and now wish to be considered for admission must change AAU to their first choice before applying for the screening exercise.
  • Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed onto the campus on the scheduled date for the screening exercise.

Residents of a Lagos estate were left in shock on Thursday night after a young woman, Deborah Porsche, popularly known as Debporsche, was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, identified simply as Lintex, nearly a year after their breakup. According to reports, Lintex had repeatedly threatened Deborah since their split in August 2024, allegedly vowing: “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I no marry you, blood go flow.” Deborah’s sister described her as a hardworking interior decorator who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She further alleged that the deceased endured emotional abuse throughout her relationship with Lintex, which ultimately pushed her to walk away. On the night of the attack, the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider in an attempt to infiltrate the estate. Security guards reportedly stopped him at the gate, but he scaled the fence and gained entry to Deborah’s apartment. Eyewitnesses said Lintex first tampered with the gas cylinder line outside the apartment, allegedly trying to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way inside and stabbed Deborah multiple times with a knife he brought along. Alarmed neighbours rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The suspect was subdued and handed over to law enforcement officers. Police authorities have confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing. Deborah’s tragic death has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stronger legal protections for women against abusive and obsessive partners.
