At the just concluded Ondo Local Government election, the All Progressives Congress won all the eighteen chairmanship seats.
Prof. Yomi Dinakin, Chairman of Ondo Independent Electoral Commission, when announcing the election results, said the party also won 194 seats of the 198 seats for the councilor’s position.
He stated further that four wards results were cancelled, while there was no contest in five local governments.
The election which was carried out on Saturday had seven political parties participating.
