Applications are now open for the Lagos State scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic session. Students are encouraged to apply. This scholarship has been approved by the Lagos State Scholarship Board to provide financial assistance to students for their education. This opportunity is available to all students from Lagos State who are currently enrolled in recognized universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, and colleges.

This scholarship is intended for students who have successfully completed their first year of study. This opportunity is open to students who have completed at least one year of study in universities, polytechnics, and monotechnics.

 

Lagos State Scholarship 2024/2025

 

Every eligible student from Lagos State will be awarded a scholarship amount of N225,000. This is applicable to both students in HND programs and undergraduate students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

This scholarship is exclusively open to full-time students enrolled in Federal, State, and Private tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This scholarship is only available to full-time students enrolled in longer duration courses.

The Lagos State scholarship program also caters to students from less-privileged backgrounds and those with physical disabilities who are studying at public tertiary institutions. Students with physical disabilities are welcome to apply for this scholarship, and it is open to students from all locations, not just Lagos. Students from other states with physical disabilities may also be eligible for this scholarship if they meet the other requirements.

Requirements for the Lagos State Scholarship for the year 2024/2025

 

  1. Applicants are required to be a native of Lagos State
  2. This scholarship is exclusively available to full-time students enrolled in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Only full-time students who are enrolled in degree programs are eligible for this opportunity.
  3. Applicants are required to have successfully completed at least one academic session in their current institution.
  4. This scholarship is exclusively available to students who have completed at least one year of their academic program.
  5. Students are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 if they are enrolled in a university, or 3.5 if they are attending a polytechnic or college.
  6. The scholarship is designed to support students who are facing financial challenges.
  7. Students from both within and outside Lagos State are eligible to apply.
  8. Proof of disability is required for students with physical disabilities.

 

Applying for the Lagos State Scholarship for the year 2024/2025

 

  • For the official Lagos State Student scholarship registration portal, please visit https://portal.lagosscholarship.org/
  • Click on Apply Now and complete the application form with accurate details.
  • Please check your email for a verification link. Please click on the link provided to activate your account.
  • Please use your email and password to log in to the scholarship portal.
  • After logging in, you will need to fill out the scholarship form by scanning and uploading the necessary documents. These include a recent passport photograph, a certificate of local government of origin, and your school ID card.
  • It is important to maintain a high CGPA of 4.0 or above for university students, or 3.5 for polytechnic and college students.

 

All the information submitted will be carefully reviewed by the Lagos State Scholarship Board. Before approving and releasing the scholarship funds, they will verify the enrollment status of the students in your institution. If all the necessary requirements are met, the applications submitted by students will be duly approved, and the scholarship funds will be promptly disbursed into their respective accounts.
