The Nigerian Women’s Association of Georgia’s scholarship program for 2025 is currently approving grants for Nigerians. Apply now, following the guidelines below.

 

The NWAG Scholarship Program is an initiative of the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG), which annually awards scholarships to indigent Nigerian students.

Each student in a Nigerian University who wins the 2025 NWAG Scholarship Award will receive Three Hundred U.S. dollars ($300). A sum of One Hundred and fifty U.S. Dollars ($150) would be awarded to several other students.

In line with this mission, NWAG is pleased to announce its scholarship program for 2025, aimed at supporting female undergraduates in Nigerian universities.

The NWAG scholarship presents a unique opportunity for female undergraduates in Nigerian universities to receive financial support for their education.

Take advantage of this opportunity and apply before the deadline to secure your chance of being one of the recipients of this prestigious scholarship.

Benefits 

  • Each Undergraduate student in a Nigerian University who wins the 2023 Scholarship Award will receive Three Hundred U.S. dollars ($300).
  • A sum of One Hundred and Fifty U.S. Dollars ($150) would be awarded to each 1st runner up.

Application Process

To apply for the 2025 NWAG Scholarship, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Proof of State of Origin- Letter of Origination from the university or a letter from your local government office.
  • Two letters of recommendation from any two of the following:
  1. Pastor or Imam
  2. Village Head
  3. Local Government Chairperson
  4. University Lecturer or Head of the Department.
  • One Letter of recommendation from either the Dean of your Faculty or the School Head of your Department
  • A photocopy of your current university student identification.
  • A current photograph of yourself.
  • An explanation of why you need and should receive the scholarship (Not more than one-half typed page).
  • A typewritten, double-spaced, two-page essay on:

“Analyze how technology can be leveraged to address gender-based violence (GBV) in Nigeria, including facilitating reporting, access to services, and creating safe spaces for survivors. Evaluate current interventions and propose innovative solutions for ensuring timely and effective assistance for GBV survivors.”

Deadline: April 30, 2025
