Popular singer Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W has celebrated his third wedding anniversary in Lagos. The singer did not have a party as usual but only made a post on his Instagram handle to mark the memorable day.
The singer said that for marriages to last it must be built n something that last and have a strong foundation unlike what happens today where many people only focus on show-offs and material things. Focusing on all that trappings that are involved in marriage is building in a wrong foundation which will not last.
Banky W was probably referring to the many celebrity marriages in Nigeria that does not last. Whenever celebrities tie the nuptial knot, many speculators assume that it will crash in n distant time and their predictions have been right in most cases because of the high rate of divorce among celebrities in Nigeria.
He also gave special appreciation to his wife who as been by his side since they got married and have been building with him. His fans and many other celebrities also wished the singer a happy wedding anniversary.
