The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced that successful candidates from its recently concluded recruitment exercise are to report for the collection of their appointment letters.

According to an official statement from the board, the distribution exercise is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the SUBEB Headquarters in Makurdi.

“All candidates who were successful in the recruitment exercise are expected to be present at the SUBEB office for the issuance of their official appointment letters,” the statement read.

SUBEB further advised successful applicants to come along with a valid means of identification and any other necessary documents required for verification. Candidates are also urged to arrive early and adhere strictly to all directives to ensure a smooth and orderly process.

The issuance of appointment letters marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts of the Benue State Government to strengthen the basic education sector.

This development follows the board’s commitment to transparency and merit-based recruitment in its effort to boost the quality of teaching and learning across the state.

Background
The SUBEB recruitment exercise was conducted to fill various teaching and non-teaching positions in primary schools across Benue State. Thousands of applicants participated in the process, with only successful candidates now proceeding to the final stage of appointment.

Next Steps
Successful candidates are expected to resume duty shortly after receiving their letters, as part of the board’s plan to immediately deploy staff to various schools across the state.

Conclusion
SUBEB congratulated the successful applicants and encouraged them to be prepared for the task ahead, which involves contributing to the improvement of foundational education in the state.
