The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for ₦570 and sell at ₦575 on Friday, February 11th, 2022, according to data obtained from Bureau De Change (BDC).
The local currency retains its value as the exchange rate for today opens at ₦570.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Friday, 11th January 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, compared to ₦570 per dollar it opened at the beginning of the week Monday, January 7th, 2022.
Even though the dollar to naira opened in the parallel market at ₦569 per $1 today, GoldenNewsNg reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market.
