Pele, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 82, was taken from the Albert Einstein Hospital to the Estádio Urbano Caldeira in Vila Belmiro on Monday morning. The coffin will be positioned in the middle of the pitch. The wake is anticipated to start at 10 a.m.

A report in the Daily Mail UK states that the ceremony will continue until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, when the parade through Santos’s streets will take place.
