Davido set to run for House of Reps
GoldenNewsNg report that Famous Nigerian singer, Davido has been urged to run for House of representatives in 2023.
Deji Adeyanju, an activist urged the musician to contest while reacting to his N250 million donation to orphanages across Nigeria.
According to him, Davido’s donation to the less privileged in the nation shows he is aware of the issues faced in the nation.
His tweet read, “I appeal to you to run for House of Reps in 2023 because you care about the people and know what the issues are. The N250m donation to the less privileged is a further justification of this assertion.”
Recall that Davido’s friends and colleagues had donated N1m each to the singer’s account for his birthday.
In total, Davido received N200m and added N50m of his personal money to give to orphanages across the country.
His act of generosity has been applauded by Nigerians and politicians.
