Reports from the Yaba Magistrates Court in Lagos today tells us that the court has granted a 1M bail to detained #EndSARS protester, Eromosele Adene with added sureties.
The magistrate court ruled against an application filed by the police officers attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department looking to remand Adene for an extra 30 days.
Remember that last week some police officers arrested Eromosele unjustly in Ikeja and they took him to the police command headquarters after which they transferred him to the Area F Command before detaining him at the SCID, Panti. He was last Monday flown to Abuja and detained for seven days before being brought back to Lagos on Sunday.
However, rather than charge him for what ever he might have done, the policemen then took the matter to a Magistrate, O.A Salau, without the consent of his lawyer and applied for a remand order to detain him for more 30 days.
But today the Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos has granted him a bail.
