There are reports of a fire at the Kano Police headquarters in Bompai, Nasarawa Local Government, with numerous offices and files believed to have been destroyed.
Goldennewsng reports that Since then, the State Fire Service is expected to have arrived on the scene to put out the raging fire in the command’s one-story building.
According to unconfirmed reports, the entire upstairs was destroyed by fire, with the exception of the heavily fortified office of the State Police Commissioner, Mamman Dauda.
Even though the phone of the Command spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, was off at the time of this report, sources said that the cause of the fire could not be determined right away.
