Nollywood Actor Sam Obiago Is Dead, See Cause Of Death
GoldenNewsNg reports that Veteran Nollywood actor and the chairman of Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), Sam Obiago is dead.
This online news platform understands that Sam Obiago death confirmed by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, on on Thursday morning, December 23, 2021.
Taking to social media network, Instagram to announce Sam Obiago death alongside a photo of the popular Nollywood actor, the AGN President wrote, “Another Sad Day. RIP Daddy Sam.”
Emeka, who didn’t disclose the cause of the actor’s death, prayed that Obiago who was popularly known as Daddy Sam rests in peace.

Though AGN President did not reveal the cause of Sam Obiago death, however, GoldenNewsNg Nigeria reports that some of the late actor’s colleagues who took to social media to express their shock about his death, revealed Sam Obiago cause of death.
Sam Obiago featured in Tears of a King, Royal Appointment, Blood Brothers and several other popular movies.
According to one of the colleagues, “He has been ill for a while now. So yesterday he started feeling very illl and he was rushed to the hospital at midnight. He gave up in the early hours of today.”
Sam Obiago is a Nigerian born Nollywood actor, film maker, TV personality and movie producer who has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.
