The jet carrying Buhari landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the state capital.
This online news platform understands that the President is Imo to commission some strategic projects by the state Governor, Hope Uzodinmma.
Meanwhile, Some pro-Biafra groups had faulted the planned visit.
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had declared a sit-at-home over Buhari’s visit, saying that the president is not welcome to the state
