Bayero University Kano, BUK Post UTME Screening Form 2022/2023 is out. See registration details, cut off mark, eligibility and how to apply on BUK portal.

This is to inform interested candidates that Bayero university Kano, BUK Kano has concluded modalities for the 2022/2023 post UTME screening of the university.

So, people who chose BUK Kano on their JAMB UTME and got a score of 180 or higher should get ready for the Post-UTME screening.

But Bayero university Post UTME (BUK Post UTME) forms are no longer on sale.

Candidates who made the institution their first choice in the 2022/2023 and met up with the cut off mark below are qualified to take part in the BUK post UTME .

BUK Post UTME Cut Off Mark

180 is the minimum cut off mark for all candidates who made Bayero university Kano their first choice in the JAMB UTME . If You made the institution your second choice or scored below 180 in your JAMB UTME, you may need to consider other ways to gain admission without JAMB.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Screening 

Follow these procedures to apply for Bayero university, Kano Post UTME:

  1. Log on to Bayero University Kano (BUK Kano) website: www.buk.edu.ng
  2. Click on Admissions. It will take you to the Bayero university kano post UTME Portal (BUK Portal).
  3. Login with your UTME Number and UTME Aggregate (total score).
  4. Then upload your passport-sized photograph. Note that the photograph uploaded will be only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in Bayero University (BUK Kano).
  5. Fill-in the Applicants’ Particulars Form.
  6. Remember to upload your O’level results on the JAMB website.
  7. Print your personalized RRR payment invoice to make the payment of N2,000.00 at any commercial bank nationwide via the Remita platform.
  8. After making the payment, return to the Bayero University Kano website: www.buk.edu.ng and login again. Your payment will be validated after which you can print your personalized acknowledgment slip. Preview and confirm your information before printing your acknowledgement slip.

Note that blind, deaf and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test. But, they need to register online.

Residents of a Lagos estate were left in shock on Thursday night after a young woman, Deborah Porsche, popularly known as Debporsche, was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, identified simply as Lintex, nearly a year after their breakup. According to reports, Lintex had repeatedly threatened Deborah since their split in August 2024, allegedly vowing: “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I no marry you, blood go flow.” Deborah’s sister described her as a hardworking interior decorator who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She further alleged that the deceased endured emotional abuse throughout her relationship with Lintex, which ultimately pushed her to walk away. Security guards reportedly stopped him at the gate, but he scaled the fence and gained entry to Deborah’s apartment. Eyewitnesses said Lintex first tampered with the gas cylinder line outside the apartment, allegedly trying to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way inside and stabbed Deborah multiple times with a knife he brought along. Alarmed neighbours rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The suspect was subdued and handed over to law enforcement officers. Police authorities have confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing. Deborah’s tragic death has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stronger legal protections for women against abusive and obsessive partners.
