August 10, 2025 – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a public warning to applicants, clarifying that no candidates have been shortlisted yet for its ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise.

In an official statement, the board confirmed that the application portal will remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025, urging interested individuals to complete their applications before the deadline.

The CDCFIB also cautioned against fraudulent activities targeting job seekers, noting reports of individuals posing as officials and demanding payment in exchange for job offers. The board stressed that the entire recruitment process is completely free and that no applicant should pay anyone at any stage.

Applicants are advised to rely only on official CDCFIB communication channels for updates and to avoid sharing personal details with unauthorized persons. The board emphasized that vigilance is key to preventing scams and ensuring a safe application process.
