Christian Erickson has said that his stay at Milan has not panned out as he would have loved, Speaking with TV2 the Danish Midfielder said that his situation at the Nerazzurri “isn’t what he dreamt off” As all players want to play as much as possible but its the coach who decides who gets on to the pitch.
He further continued his statement saying that “Its a strange situation as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I but the coach has different ideas and as a player I have to respect that”
Christan Erickson moved from Tottenham Hotspur in January to Inter Milan and was backed by the manager Antonio conte that he is going the deliver the goods been the dictator in the midfield but all that has struggled to come by as he has only mustered to start 11 matches since joining in the winter transfer window and a further 11 matches coming off the bench.
In the 2020/21 Season, He has managed to start in 3 matches and has not completed the full duration of those matches.
The Danish Midfielder also stated he is concentrating on his football, that when the transfer window opens in January, we would see if something would happen or not.
He can still come back and solidify his position in Antonio conte squad as Inter Milan has had a bad start to the Serie A campaign and he could be the engine room to stir them back on track.
Inter Milan sit 5th on the Serie A table with 5 points behind league leaders and Perennial City Rivals AC Milan on the table and If Christian Erickson gets back his form he could be the one at the heart of the midfield giving the telepathic passes and helping them hold fort in their quest for success this season.
