NDLEA 2023 Recruitment: Final Shortlisted Candidates Announced for Narcotic Officer and Assistant Cadres
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is pleased to announce the release of the final lists of successful candidates for the 2023 recruitment exercise, specifically for the esteemed positions of Narcotic Officer and Narcotic Assistant.
Training Locations: The selected candidates for the Narcotic Officer cadre are required to report for Narcotic Officers Basic (Cadet) training at the prestigious NDLEA Academy, situated in the serene surroundings of Kotton Rikus, Jos Plateau State. On the other hand, the successful Narcotic Agent/Assistant (Trainees) will commence their training at the reputable Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College of Peace and Disaster Management, located at KM 4 Babbar-Ruga Batsari Road, Katsina State.

Important Notes: a. Reporting for Training: All successful candidates must strictly adhere to the designated centers and training schedules assigned to their respective groups. It is essential to report on time to ensure a smooth and successful commencement of training. Candidates in the Superintendent (Supt) Cadre must report by 6 pm on Wednesday, 2nd August 2023, while those in the Narcotic Assistant (NA and NASS) Cadre must report by Friday, 18th August 2023.
b. Disqualification Policy: Candidates who fail to report for training as scheduled will automatically be disqualified from further participation in the recruitment process. Hence, punctuality is of utmost importance.
c. Pregnancy Restriction: Female candidates who are currently pregnant will be unable to participate in the training program at this time.
d. Drug Integrity and Pregnancy Testing: Throughout the training period, candidates will undergo regular Drug Integrity Tests. Additionally, female candidates will be subjected to pregnancy tests at various intervals. It is crucial to note that candidates who test positive in either of these tests will be immediately withdrawn from the training program.
