Below is a Complete List Of Countries That Have Qualified For 2026 World Cup

GoldenNewsNg gathered that Seventeen nations have officially booked their tickets to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with excitement building ahead of the first-ever tournament to be jointly hosted by three countries: the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

North American trio earned automatic qualification as hosts, setting the stage for an unprecedented global spectacle across multiple cities.

In Asia, Japan became the first to qualify on March 20, 2025, followed by Iran five days later. New Zealand sealed Oceania’s lone guaranteed slot on March 24 with a 3–0 victory over New Caledonia.

Other Asian nations that have since booked their tickets include Jordan, South Korea, Uzbekistan, and Australia, who sealed qualification on June 5.

South America remains well represented, with traditional powerhouses confirming their places. Argentina qualified after a decisive draw between Uruguay and Bolivia in March. By June, Brazil and Ecuador joined the party, while Uruguay, Paraguay, and Colombia followed in early September, bringing CONMEBOL’s tally to six.

In Africa, Morocco became the first country from the continent to qualify, continuing their fine run after an impressive 2022 campaign in Qatar.
