COY18 Volunteer Application Form
As the UAE prepares to host COP28, the largest environment-focused event, it is vital to ensure that the youth perspective is well-represented. We are thrilled to present the 18th edition of the Conference of Youth (COY18) – a conference that aims to amplify the voices of young people in a bigger and better way than ever before. However, we cannot achieve this without your assistance. To deliver the best version of COY yet, we need your support in programming, logistics, media, and various other areas.
COY18 is designed to be organized with a flat team structure where everyone’s opinions are equally valued and considered. To facilitate effective communication, we encourage youth with leadership experience to apply for the role of coordinators. Coordinators will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication among volunteers, coordinating tasks within their teams, and reporting progress to the rest of the COY18 organizers.
To align your skills and interests with a suitable role, we kindly request you to fill out this application form (30-40 min).
For Country Contact Points (CCPs): Each country will have two CCPs. If your country has an accepted LCOY, one CCP will be nominated by the LCOY Organizing Team. The other CCP will be selected from the applicants using this form.
For countries without an LCOY, both CCPs will be selected through this form.

Please note that your application will be processed within 8 days. If you do not receive a response within this period, your application did not proceed to the next stage.
Volunteering for COY18 does not guarantee you a spot at the in-person event.
