Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to Facebook to celebrate becoming the first player to score 800 career goals.
The Portugal superstar bagged a brace against Arsenal to help Manchester United secure 3-2 win over the Gunners on Thursday night.
The forward reached the milestone as he put the hosts 2-1 up in the second half converting Marcus Rashford’s cross.
He then added his 801st strike from the penalty spot to seal the 3-2 victory over Mikel Arteta’s men.
Taking to his Facebook page, the former Real Madrid star wrote: ” Very happy to become the first football player to score more than 800 official goals. What an amazing and unforgettable run this is becoming… Thank you to all my supporters for always standing by my side. 801 and still counting! Let’s keep stretching this number and breaking every possible record! Let’s do it together, I’m counting on all of you!”
