David Moyes, the West Ham manager, has predicted that Manchester City, ahead of Arsenal, will win the Premier League.
Goldennnewsng reports that Moyes spoke after Arsenal beat West Ham 3-1 on Boxing Day in a Premier League match.
The former Manchester United manager predicted that Manchester City would come to Arsenal and keep the ball away from them, just as Arsenal did with West Ham.
“I think Mikel could end up being a manager who wins titles.” Do I believe they will win it this year? I’m unsure. In his press conference following the match, Moyes stated, “I think you would be remiss if you don’t think of Man City.”
You’d have to write them down. They have a fantastic team, but in the future, there will be other groups that are accustomed to competing at the very top, like Liverpool.
This does not mean that Mikel is not building a team capable of winning, but I believe he will be aware that Man City will win. They will arrive here and prevent Arsenal from scoring.
“Man City will come here and keep the ball off Arsenal, and it will become a different type of game for them,” Man City said. “Arsenal kept the ball off us tonight.”
