The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has officially opened applications for the 7th edition of its Entrepreneurship Training Program. In a major step toward helping small businesses grow in 2025, DBN is offering an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to access vital business training and funding support.
“This year’s program includes online learning modules and an in-person workshop in 12 locations across the six geopolitical zones,” the organizers stated. “Whether you’re just starting or looking to take your business to the next level, this program is designed for you.”

The training is tailored to equip participants with essential business skills needed to grow and scale. Participants stand a chance to:

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, interested applicants must enroll and complete at least four mandatory courses:
i. Credit Management and Access to Finance
ii. Sustainability for Small Businesses
iii. Accounting and Bookkeeping
iv. Marketing and Sales Techniques
According to DBN, “This is your pathway to business success.” The initiative promotes access to finance, financial literacy, and small business development.
The program is part of a broader plan to empower entrepreneurs and strengthen Nigeria’s economy by supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
