The well-known Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has responded to the South-East sit-at-home directive.
Goldennewsng reports that in response to Simon Ekpa, he stated that the sit-at-home order will not fulfill Biafran aspirations.
On Friday, Yul Edochie made the statement via his Twitter handle.
“Dear Simon Ekpa,’sit at home’ will not bring Biafra,” he declared.
“Biafra will not be created by suffering your own people. Emeka and Chioma did not join Nigeria; the British government did. because they have their own personal reasons, forcing your people to make a point is pointless. To achieve Biafra, we must use diplomatic and peaceful means to get the world to listen to us.
“Using violence against your people will only cause division, and it starts by preaching LOVE, PEACE, and UNITY to Ndi Igbo. Furthermore, “a divided house will never accomplish anything significant,” he added.

Nigeria wasn’t joined by Emeka or Chioma, Nigeria was joined by the British Govt. for their own personal reasons, therefore suffering your people to make a point is of no use.— Yul Edochie (@YulEdochie) December 16, 2022
To achieve Biafra we must find peaceful & diplomatic ways to make the world hear our voice.
And it starts by preaching LOVE, PEACE & UNITY amongst Ndi Igbo.
Using violence on your people will only bring division.
And a divided house can never achieve anything meaningful.— Yul Edochie (@YulEdochie) December 16, 2022
