Detailed Summary of Nasims’ Interactive Session with Npower Batch C Beneficiaries

Recently, Nasims hosted an interactive session called “Half Hour With Npower C Beneficiaries” to address the concerns and queries of Npower Batch C beneficiaries. Summary of Questions Asked by Beneficiaries: During the interactive session, Npower C beneficiaries had the opportunity to voice their concerns and seek clarifications on several important topics. The questions raised by the beneficiaries centered around the following key areas:

  1. Status of C1 Beneficiaries in the Npower Program: One of the primary concerns expressed by the participants was the status and fate of C1 beneficiaries in the Npower program. Nasims clarified that the Npower C1 program officially ended in August 2022. However, it was highlighted that additional payments received by C1 beneficiaries for the months of September, October, and November were part of the Nexit package. These additional payments were approved by H.M. Sadiya Umar Farouq, who showed great generosity and consideration towards the beneficiaries.
  2. Payment and Program Continuation: Beneficiaries inquired about the continuity of the Npower program and the status of ongoing payments. Nasims explained that the program’s continuation is entirely at the discretion of the President. At present, the status of the program has not been officially confirmed, and as a result, Nasims cannot provide a definite answer regarding the continuity of payments. The decision to continue payments is subject to the President’s approval, and further updates will be provided once a decision has been made.
  3. Payment Date for Outstanding Months Owed: Participants expressed concerns regarding the payment date for outstanding months owed to them. Nasims stated that the payment date for these outstanding months remains unknown at present. This is primarily because the funds required for these payments have yet to be approved by the new administration. Nasims assured the beneficiaries that once the necessary approvals are obtained, the payment date will be initiated promptly, ensuring that the beneficiaries receive their rightful payments.
  4. Unpaid Npower C1 Beneficiaries for September, October, and November Stipends: Beneficiaries who had not received their stipend payments for the months of September, October, and November sought clarification on their pending payments. Nasims assured them that once the funds are approved and made available, these C1 beneficiaries will receive their outstanding payments. The commitment to fulfilling these pending payments underscores Nasims’ dedication to ensuring that all beneficiaries receive the support they are entitled to.
  5. Position of Batch C Beneficiaries Who Received a Pre-selection Message: Batch C beneficiaries who received a pre-selection message sought further guidance on their status and next steps. Nasims clarified that these pre-selected beneficiaries are supplementary to the existing C2 beneficiaries. They were advised to carefully follow the instructions provided in the message they received and patiently await further directives. Nasims is working diligently to provide comprehensive guidance to these pre-selected beneficiaries, ensuring a smooth transition into the program.
  6. Account Validation Requirements: Nasims provided insights into the account validation process, which generated queries from both C2 beneficiaries and those experiencing payment issues among the C1 beneficiaries. Account validation links were specifically sent to C2 beneficiaries whose account details were not accurately captured in the payroll and database. However, Nasims also extended this opportunity to C1 beneficiaries who were facing payment issues, enabling them to utilize the account validation process to rectify any account-related challenges and ensure seamless payment transactions moving forward.

Conclusion: The interactive session conducted by Nasims proved to be a valuable platform for Npower Batch C beneficiaries to address their concerns and seek clarity on various aspects of the program. Nasims responded to the questions raised, acknowledging the uncertainties surrounding certain areas and emphasizing the dependence on the President’s approval for critical decisions related to program continuation and payment approvals. Through this summary, Nasims reaffirms its commitment to resolving outstanding payment issues, providing guidance to pre-selected beneficiaries, and ensuring the seamless functioning of the Npower program for the benefit of all participants.
