Later the governors met with the NWC of the ruling party on Monday night to discuss the consensus candidate ahead of the Special Convention for its presidential primary election.
According to Abubakar Kyari, Vice Chairman of APC North, the discussions on the consensus candidate would continue on Tuesday night at the Abuja residence of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
